My earliest memories of creating art began when simply exploring the interplay between colours and geometric shapes.
Since then, my style has evolved into creating complex and intricate mosaics of hand-drawn coloured triangles where I aim to enhance the vibrancy and intensity of my original photographs.
"Flooding the world with colour, one triangle at a time", had begun.
In my artwork, the number of triangles (shown by the title on each artwork) ranges from hundreds, in my 'impressionistic' style, to many thousands that form my photo-realistic pieces.
I am particularly inspired by natural landscapes and seascapes and my portfolio ranges from views across the UK, Germany, Switzerland and Liguria, Italy.
Digital artwork, by definition, cannot exist as a physical 'original', in the same way that engravings, screenprints or linocuts cannot be seen until printed.
My artwork is available in strictly Limited Editions, signed and numbered, as Giclée prints on archival quality paper using up to 12 natural pigments, all accompanied with a Certificate of Authenticity.
Originally from Wotton-under-Edge, Gloucestershire, I studied at the nearby Stroud College where I completed a Foundation Degree covering Photography and Illustration.
I now live and work near the iconic Cotswolds village of Minchinhampton.
Since becoming a professional artist, I have been selected to exhibit in a number of major art events, including The Saatchi Gallery (Start Art Fair) and the Chelsea College of Arts (Flux Exhibition) among other high profile events across the UK.
I am delighted that my work is now included in private collections in Belgium, France, Italy, Sweden and the USA, as well as throughout the UK, including recent commissions.
I exhibit regularly at major Contemporary Art Fairs and particiapte in Solo and Group exhibitions across the UK and Europe.
