Currently working on landscapes, seascapes and cityscapes my portfolio includes views from the around the UK, Germany, Switzerland, Italy and the USA.
Inspired by photographic studies my art comprises intricate mosaics of coloured triangles, meticulously hand-drawn digitally (using a stylus and tablet).
The number of triangles (shown by the artwork title) reaches many thousands, depending on the nature, complexity and interpretation of the subject.
Digital artwork, by definition, cannot exist as a physical 'original', in the same way that engravings, screenprints or linocuts are not viewable until printed.
My artwork, all in strictly Limited Editions, is produced as Giclée prints, each one signed, numbered and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
They are produced using archival, best quality Hahnemuhle paper and up to 12 non-fade natural pigments.
Originally from Wotton-under-Edge, Gloucestershire, I studied at Stroud College where I completed a Foundation Degree covering Photography and Illustration; I now live and work in Minchinhampton in the Cotswolds.
Since becoming professional, I have been selected to exhibit in a number of major art events, including The Saatchi Gallery and the Chelsea College of Arts in London, and other high profile events across the UK.
I am thrilled that my work is now included in private collections in Australia, Belgium, France, Italy, Sweden, Switzerland, USA, and the UK.
I exhibit regularly at major Contemporary Art Fairs and in Solo and Group exhibitions across the UK and Europe. I am honoured to have been voted People's Choice at the 2019 ArtFest in Holmfirth, Yorkshire.
