Drawn to natural landscapes and seascapes my portfolio includes views from the around the UK, Germany, Switzerland, Italy and the USA.
All my art is based on original, photographic studies and comprises intricate mosaics of coloured triangles, meticulously handdrawn digitally (using a stylus and tablet).
The number of triangles (shown by the artwork title) totals many thousands, depending on the complexity of the subject.
Digital artwork, by definition, cannot exist as a physical 'original', in the same way that engravings, screenprints or linocuts are not viewable until printed.
My artwork, all in strictly Limited Editions, is produced as Giclée prints, all signed, numbered and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
They are produced using archival, best quality Hahnemuhle paper and up to 12 non-fade natural pigments.
Originally from Wotton-under-Edge, Gloucestershire, I studied at Stroud College where I completed a Foundation Degree covering Photography and Illustration; I now live and work near the Cotswolds village of Minchinhampton.
Since becoming professional, I have been selected to exhibit in a number of major art events, including The Saatchi Gallery and the Chelsea College of Arts and other high profile events across the UK.
I am thrilled that my work is included in private collections in Australia, Belgium, France, Italy, Sweden and the USA, as well as throughout the UK.
I exhibit regularly at major Contemporary Art Fairs and in Solo and Group exhibitions across the UK and Europe. I am honoured to have been voted People's Choice at the 2019 ArtFest in Holmfirth, Yorkshire.
